interesting sights in Okinawa

We saw this strange fruit on a tree at the beach. I have no idea what it is:

A with the large suit of armor in front of a store.

Dragons are very popular here. This was in the middle of a shopping mall/arcade.

In the arcade, M and A decided to play a definitely non-American game, taiko drumming. They were supposed to follow along the beats and hit the drum at the appropriate time. As far as we could tell, they weren't penalized for extra hits though.

More taiko drumming. It was hard to figure out exactly what to do because none of it was in English, but they had a good time.

B loved watching TV or anything else "with my cousin".

J says that it all looks pretty cool and she's jealous! Especially of the taiko thing. She's already counting the seconds 'til high school(!) when she can "take one year of French to finish out my language requirement, then three years of Japanese!"

Noooooo...I said I was going to take 2 years of French/Spanish (depending on what I get into) to get a language credit (in middle school!) then take all 4 years of Japanese!

I really don:t know if it is dragon palace, sorry. It is near Kadina AFB.

M would be jealous that you can take Japanese in high school! He can:t start a language until 8th grade - and even then we:re not sure if he will get to choose between French and Spanish. In high school he gets the choice of French, Spanish and maybe Latin or German - depends on interest and teacher availability.
