Fun time-waster

Lately I've been having fun with a web paint by number site.   Click on random puzzle and give it a try.  A has gotten rather interested in doing them too, mostly with me rather than completely on his own - but, if he sticks with it, he's pretty good at them.

New timewaster

I've found a new timewaster, err game. They call it Four Rivers Puzzle, but it reminds me a lot of mah-jong. So far, I've gotten my time down to as low as 2 min 45 sec.

I know I should be finishing up my packing, but this is much more fun!

Puzzle Websites

I've found a new website to waste time on - it's a paint-by-number puzzle site.  I've done these type of puzzles before (fell in love with them in Games magazine years ago) and I wanted to have some puzzles to take on our vacation.  Many hours of plane travel and limited luggage space means that these are a perfect plan.

I also went looking for a form of Sudoku puzzle I encountered once - it is 5 interlocking sudoku   puzzles.  I got introduced to it at a welcome station for Ohio.  Lots of fun.  I found Samurai Soduku here.  Seems rather fitting given that these are for a trip to Japan!

Cute game

I saw a link to this game. It's rather mindless, but cute. So far my best is 8, this after many best scores of 1.

Cool puzzle games

D was playing a game that M was interested in, WarBears.

So then, D told us about a site, that has lots of cool games.

I've been trying out a puzzle game, Click Drag Type, Pretty cool. There are 10 puzzles and is each independent of the others. There are no real instructions - you just have to figure them out. So far I've figured out 1 and 2 and have fiddled with 3 and 4, but haven't solved those.

It looks like there are a lot of cool games to try out.
