Children's Sunday at Church
This Sunday was the end of Sunday school at church. The kids put on the service, taking over all the adult roles, except for priest. A and several others from his Sunday School class (K-2) took turns reading the Old Testament lesson. Later, A narrated as they showed off what the Children's Church did.
M's class (3rd - 5th) enacted the creation story as part of the sermon. M also sang with the children's choir - their last performance until next fall. M says, yay, no more choir practice!
Since the kids were taking on the adult roles, the adults took on the kids role, as acolytes. D took his turn as an acolyte this year:
